Thank you so much, anon. Beautiful will definitely only be 10 chapters…I don’t think that’s *too* short, the whole thing is actually over 20K words now (including finalized chapters and drafted chapters). I have a particular narrative to tell, and it will fit into 10 chapters perfectly. I wish I could say I was close to updating but the truth is I have a lot going on right now and I don’t know when I’ll update again. But I did work on the next chapter recently (like a week or two ago) so I mean I’m working on it from time to time, but I have other fics I need to finish for the big bangs I signed up for. I will get there, I promise. Thanks for being so, so patient and for still following me!
beta appreciation day. oh boy. i have some wonderful people who read my work. they are selfless, considerate, constructive, and just all-around fantastic to know. for the time they give to review my fics, and for the amazingness they write that i get to read, i am better.
judearaya: my first writer/fandom friend. as the old adage goes, new friends are silver but old friends are gold. jude is the shiniest, golden-est of them all.
borogroves: i remember when i started reading Snapshots i was left feeling like her writing gave me so much *more* than most other stories. more depth, or passion, or *something*. so i told her so, and then she told me she loved something that i was writing, and we generally flailed over each other and i knew someday i wanted to ask her to beta for me. she is a sweet smartypants who throws me lovely compliments as well as helpful feedback.
facethefall: my go-to when i need to ask someone the all-important question: “is what i wrote hot enough???” thanks in advance for beta-ing my reversebang new england klaine fic! (um, i *did* ask you about that, yes?)
iwouldsaybi: someone who started off as a thoughtful reviewer of my stalker!blaine fic who i ended up asking to beta when i hit more than a few moments of self-doubt. thanks for your excellent feedback on the chapters you beta-ed, and i hope you might be willing to review the rest when i get my shit together to finish that fic!
bowtiesforbows: not really a beta but a cheerleader/motivator. she’s the only one i oblige when asked for random snippets of fics i have ideas for but really, really shouldn’t work on because i have too much else to write and…oh fuck, whatever, here’s a whole chapter i just stayed up late writing.
also, the fact that i’ve had the pleasure of meeting all but one of these fine ladies in person is mind-blowing. <3 to you all!
question for my followers:
has anyone ever drawn a map of the choir room? i am looking for the number of doors in and out (i think there’s only two?), as well as if there are any closets in the room. judging from this pic it looks like there’s some type of A/V or storage closet in the corner, but i want to double check. thanks!!

Well technically he is a marine ecologist so don’t be too disappointed lol. But yes this fic will include some plant talk…I think this is the first time Spartina and Phragmites will be included in a Klaine fic :P
